Hiệp hội Nhà Văn Hoa Kỳ đã chọn ra 101 tác phẩm kinh điển để đưa vào danh sách những phim có kịch bản hay nhất thế kỷ 21.

Vừa qua, Hiệp hội Nhà Văn Hoa Kỳ (gọi tắt là WGA), đã chọn ra 101 tác phẩm để lọt vào danh sách những phim có kịch bản hay nhất thế kỷ 21. Với vị trí đầu bảng thuộc về “đứa con tinh thần” của đạo diễn Jordan Peele, Get Out. Tác phẩm này từng làm mưa làm gió không chỉ ở các rạp chiếu mà còn quét sạch nhiều giải thưởng hàn lâm danh giá, bao gồm giải Oscar cho “Kịch bản gốc xuất sắc nhất”.

Get Out được xem là phim có kịch bản hay nhất thế kỷ 21 theo WGA.

Get Out kể về nhân vật Chris do Daniel Kaluuya thủ vai, một anh chàng Mỹ gốc Phi đang hẹn hò cùng cô bạn gái da trắng Rose (Allison Williams). Câu chuyện trong phim xoay quanh chuyến hành trình của cả hai về thăm gia đình của Rose. Tuy nhiên, Chris luôn cảm thấy có điều gì đó bất an và bí ẩn trong ngôi nhà của bố mẹ Rose, đặc biệt từ những thành viên có cùng màu da với anh.

Những cái tên đáng chú ý khác trong BXH lần này còn có Moonlight của Barry Jenkins, Inglourious Bastard của Quentin Tarantino hay Parasite của Bong Joon Ho và còn nhiều tác phẩm đình đám khác.

Thomas Anderson và Quentin Tarantino là hai cái tên có nhiều tác phẩm lọt vào danh sách nhất với 3 kịch bản cho mỗi vị đạo diễn. Với Quentin thì là “Inglourious Basterds” tại #8, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” tại #22, và “Django Unchained” tại #74. Ba đứa con khác của đạo diễn Anderson là “There Will Be Blood” tại #7, “The Master” tại #84, và “Phantom Thread” tại #87.

Quentin Tarantino (trái) và Thomas Anderson (phải) là hai đạo diễn có nhiều tác phẩm lọt vào BXH nhất.
